About Us

​As a community partner we support, advocate, and promote legal, state, and national efforts to prevent and reduce the harmful effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use among youth and adults in Jay County, Indiana. 
The Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition (JCDPC) is part of the statewide network of the Indiana Commission to Combat Drug Abuse. The JCDPC is the Local Coordinating Council (LCC) for the community.  ​

Meet the Team

Kimbra Reynolds,
MBA, LCAC, CADAC I
Executive Director

​Kimbra Reynolds is the Executive Director of the Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition.  She is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor, Certified Peer Addiction Recovery Coach, and holds an MBA specializing in Health Care.  Kimbra has 33 years of successful coalition building, addictions intervention and prevention experience.  She is responsible for the oversight of Jay County’s first Drug Free Communities federal grant, Northeast Indiana Recovery Network Anchor HUB, Indiana Department of Health ECHO grant, including Jay County’s Overdose Fatality Review committee, DMHA Northern Indiana Evidenced Based School Prevention grant for The Lutheran Foundation and Tobacco Prevention Cessation Capacity grant. Ms. Reynolds is also certified in Mental Health First Aid, CRAFT, Strengthening Families (10-14), PRIME for Life and Active Parenting. Mrs. Reynolds is the past Executive Director for Caring About People, Inc., a non-profit organization that provided prevention and counseling services to over 700 families annually in Allen County. Her 33 years of leadership experience has provided Kimbra the opportunity to become a graduate of the National Coalition Academy, past state president of Indiana Association of Prevention Professionals, contractual work with various coalitions, a local and federal grant reviewer, and sought out by universities for collaborations. Kimbra also serves as on Purdue Extension Jay County Board, the Regional Advisory Board Secretary for Northeast Indiana local coordinating councils, Jay County’s representative to region 5 Regional Council for Substance Misuse Prevention and Mental Health Promotion, part of the Indiana Coalition Network’s leadership team, Indiana Criminal Justice Institute’s Local Coordinating Council Advisory Board, and serves on The Portland Foundation GIFT VII Opioid/Child Poverty Task Force Steering Committee and Co-Chairs the Family Success Task Force.
