The Strengthening Families Program is a 7-week, evidence-based course for families with children ages 10-14 years old. During this program, childcare for children outside of the 10-14 age group is provided, along with a meal for the entire family. The program, childcare, and meal are completely free for the families that attend. This program focuses on parenting skills, children’s social skills, and family life skills. Both parents and children participate in SFP and have sessions separately and together. Group Leader Manuals contain a complete lesson for every session, and parents’ and children’s handouts are also provided for every session.
