Executive Director
Kimbra Reynolds is the Executive Director of the Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition.  She is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor, Certified Peer Addiction Recovery Coach and holds an MBA specializing in Health Care.  Kimbra has 33 years of successful coalition building, substance use intervention, and prevention experience.   Kimbra serves as Jay County’s representative to the Region 5 Regional Council for Substance Misuse Prevention and Mental Health Promotion and Indiana Criminal Justice Institute’s Local Coordinating Council Advisory Board.  Her 33 years of leadership experience have allowed Kimbra to become a graduate of the National Coalition Academy and past state president of the Indiana Association of Prevention Professionals.  She is a state and national presenter, provides contractual work with various coalitions, and is a local and federal grant reviewer.

various settings, driven by his own recovery journey to support them. His ability to connect with diverse youth and foster genuine change sets him apart. Jake’s commitment extends to Jay County, where he works to change substance use culture. As a person in long term recovery, Jake’s personal experience uniquely qualifies him to lead our prevention team, reflecting his dedication to positive change. His journey from addiction to recovery fuels his unwavering commitment to helping others, especially youth, navigate their own challenges, making him a

Since January 2019, I've been a part of the Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition team. Over this time, I've earned certifications as a CAPRC II (Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach II) and CSPR-PR (Certified Supervisor of Peer Recovery – Peer Recovery). In June 2023, I was thrilled to step into the role of Director overseeing the recovery division, PAST Recovery Services. Being in long-term recovery myself, I take immense satisfaction in contributing to a devoted team dedicated to aiding individuals on their journey to recovery from substance use disorders. Working with colleagues who share a profound concern for those in need of support is a true pleasure.​

Stephanie Patterson,

Hey there! I'm Stephanie Patterson, a Prevention Project Coordinator with the Prevention Team at Jay County Drug Prevention Coalition. I wear a few hats here - I facilitate the Suicide-Overdose Fatality Review meetings and lead the Parent Cafes in Jay County. I take pride in being a trainer for QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) and Parent Cafes. Sitting on various committees like Prevent Child Abuse, System of Care, and Prevention Stakeholders meetings is where I feel in my element. Collaborating with others in Jay County is the key to our community's success. Looking ahead, I'm aiming to earn a prevention specialist credential in the next year. Let's keep the momentum going!

I joined the Prevention Team in April 2023. Substance abuse disorder has always been a part of my adult life, although I've been fortunate not to personally experience it. Many of the people I grew up with, and consider friends and family, are currently battling this disorder, and sadly, some very important individuals in my life have lost their fight against it. I wanted to be part of an organization that makes a positive impact every day for those struggling with substance abuse disorder. Some days, all I wish for is to contribute a small effort each day to combat this terrible disorder.

I am Josh Stewart, I am the Community Recovery Coordinator/Supervisor for the community team.  I work as a peer recovery coach and I supervise the recovery team as well as coordinate new referrals that come in.   I am involved with Recovery coaching because I have a desire to help people live their best lives and to help break down the stigma behind substance use disorder and recovery.  I truly believe that everyone deserves a 2nd chance and has the ability to live a life that they deserve!

I have been blessed to serve as an addiction's recovery coach since 2019 by an organization that makes it their mission to strengthen our community and our people in it. They took a chance on me when others would've passed me by because of my past legal and social issues that stemmed from my substance use disorder and mental health struggles. This sparked the fire of hope for my future and purpose in this life. 4 years later, I am still walking alongside my people in my community on their recovery journey and it never gets old watching my people be sparked with hope and finding their own purpose in this life. That's a paycheck in itself and its priceless!

Being in long-term recovery myself, I believe it's my life's purpose to extend a helping hand to those grappling with addiction and demonstrate that there's a more fulfilling way to live.

I've been on my own recovery journey since November 2016, and it's a path that I wholeheartedly embrace. There's nothing more fulfilling for me than collaborating with fellow members of the recovery community, guiding them towards the path of sobriety, and cheering them on as they maintain it.

Hello my name is Jamie Blevins. I started with Past Recovery Services in June of 2022 to work with the IRACS program in Delaware County. When I started I was a Forensic Peer Recovery Coach and I worked with the women inside of the Delaware County Jail. I led the Matrix groups that focused on substance use disorder and criminal thinking. In July of 2024 I was promoted to the Delaware County IRACS Supervisor/Program Director. I have absolutely loved working as a part of the IRACS team. I have learned so much since I have been a part of the team. The impact and successes that we all have witnessed has been eye opening and inspiring to say the least. I am a person in long term recovery from substance use. My clean date is April 15 2018 but my recovery journey started in 2013. I have been incarcerated in the past numerous times so I truly have an understanding of what it's like to be in the cycle of addiction and criminal behavior but I also know what it's like to grow in recovery and to break that cycle. Since I have been in recovery all of my charges have been expunged I have a clean record so I believe that I can be the example for others on this journey. Today I am grateful to be a part of the solution. With God all things are possible.

Scott Bronner

I'm Scott.  Before I became a CAPRC II at IRACS, I found my own recovery at Bethel House in Anderson, Indiana.  After I graduated sober for 90 days, the director asked me to stay on as the house manager.  During that time, I began employment at The Christian Center men's shelter as an administrative assistant.  Later, I became a CAPRC II through a TCC affiliate.  This led to my first experiences working with the incarcerated, homeless, and those in the public with substance use disorder in Madison County.  I am also active with the Brianna's Hope Faith in Your Recovery Podcast and currently teach a Relapse Prevention class through By His Grace Ministries, also in Anderson, Indiana.  I remain an alumni of Bethel House and help where needed with the current clients housed there.  I fulfill my new direction and purpose by serving the Delaware County IRACS office by working with participants who currently find themselves incarcerated at the Delaware County Jail as a Forensic Peer. I now live independently on my own.  When I'm not working in the recovery field, I am continuously working on my own recovery.  I also enjoy acting as a "heel" General Manager For Intense Championship Wrestling in Marion, Indiana, practicing on my Schecter Sixx bass guitar and am enjoying my life with one day road trips. I also attend church services at ITOWN in Noblesville. I am so grateful for my IRACS family and hope to travel in order to train others at new office sites in other Indiana counties as well as other states.

I am Melissa Campbell, the Engagement Coordinator for Blackford County. As a certified Peer Support professional, I currently run the Matrix and WRAP programs within our local jail. With 5 years of sobriety, I am dedicated to helping others on their recovery journey, striving to be the person I once needed during my own recovery. Beyond substance use disorder, I am passionate about supporting those with trauma and PTSD, and I am committed to helping other women see and know their worth. Outside of work, I assist individuals in abusive relationships to seek freedom from their abusers, both physically and mentally. After struggling with domestic violence and mental health issues myself, I feel it is important to let others know there is hope and freedom. There is life worth living beyond substance use disorder, mental health issues, abuse, and the haunting of your own thoughts.

My name is Kenny Maxwell and my recovery journey actually started only 19 months ago.  If you would have asked me a  few years ago if I was an addict I would have said, “no way! I spent 20 years being sober.”  You see I was in prison for those 20 years and maintained my sobriety for all that time.  So when I left, I knew I didn’t have a problem with drugs and alcohol.  I quickly learned the hard way that sobriety and recovery are 2 different animals.  With my experiment into controlled drinking and casual drug use I quickly was trapped again in addiction.  With the support of my wife and a church family who loved me no matter what, I went to The Muncie Mission and started going to Celebrate Recovery and AA.  Working through the steps and seeing my life, my marriage, and my sanity restored I became a true believer; a believer in recovery and a desire to give away what I was given. So when the opportunity came for me to work at IRACS it was literally like a dream come true.  I know, it sounds corny but think of it;  My past history of being incarcerated and being an ex-addict were not liabilities but assets!  Are you kidding me?  Step 12 in AA tells us that one of the ways we keep our sobriety is to help others find theirs.  And now through IRACS I get a front row seat to see incarcerated men transform their lives.  I help them on their journey to be good husbands, engaged fathers and responsible adults, advocating for themselves and seeing their self-worth. In addition to working at IRACS, my wife and I facilitate small groups for a local Celebrate Recovery and do Bible lessons with the Gidiens in The Delaware County Jail. I have been working with this program since February of this year and it’s the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.  I am so grateful for IRACS and the vision it has to break the cycle of incarceration and addiction.  To offer hope and to come alongside those who society has written off.  And to be a small part of such a big dream.

Lindsay Dowell

My Misery: My downfall into the panic and addiction of hard drugs was a slow and brutal one starting with my early childhood trauma and depression. I see myself only smoking pot at first. I had "friends" who wanted me to participate in experiences with using hard drugs. I believe that this is commonly called "Peer Pressure". I succumbed to their offers and was using and selling. It did not take any time at all before I was experiencing Work Release, Halfway housing, jail and finally prison. CONQUER! My Miracle: I had plenty of time to think in prison. I came to the decision that I never wanted to be in this position ever again. I kept myself busy in the interim with working and getting my Safe Serve. Upon my release from IDOC I was given the opportunity to be a case manager at an amazing women's facility. This helped me pave the way to get my CPSP certification which lead to my position as a Peer Recovery Coach. I love helping people in need understand the importance of the recovery process. I am actively involved in recovery in multiple communities working to empower and inspire others to the path to recovery. I love bring hope to others and teach them how to transform themselves for a better and more fulfilling life. My aspiration at this time in my life is to connect people with the resources and tools that they need to find recovery. My recovery is a true testament to resilience and the power to overcome addiction.
