Students experiencing homelessness have the right to:
- Receive a free, appropriate public education
- Enroll in school immediately, even without required documents
- Attend classes while the school gathers necessary documents
- Choose to enroll in the local school or the school of origin
- Receive transportation to and from the school of origin upon request
- Receive educational services comparable to other students, based on individual needs

High School - Matching 21st Century Scholars with volunteer mentors who provide support and guidance throughout high school.

- Available during the academic school year
- Offered in the evenings, online, and by phone
- Grades 6 through 12 students connect with an IU college student for help in math, English, science, and social studies
Mentor Partnering:

- Mentors discuss academic goals, challenges, and support positive decision-making
Programs & Workshops:
- Enrolled students receive opportunities for college and career readiness programs
- Programs and workshops are offered by your local campus

Mentoring Program:
- Connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities
- Aims to inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures
- Pairs children one-on-one with a mentor
- Engages in structured group activities focusing on higher education, careers, culture, diversity, and community service
