How to have a fun fathers day in 2020

Fathers Day is a holiday that is met with the gathering of family, appreciating the Father figures in our lives, and usually a cook out or two. However, Fathers Day this year will be met with some challenges as we attempt to bring the same amount of celebration into a space of quarantine. We absolutely want to encourage you to keep the same protective measures in place to ensure the safety of your family and loved ones, but we also want to have fun! We have created a list of activities that you can do to celebrate, even while implementing social distancing.

10 Things to do for Fathers Day when applying the Rules of Social Distancing:

+ Play cornhole in the yard
+ Have a game day with your favorite board games
+ Video-chat with relatives that are practicing social distancing
+ Have a desert taste test - try new things together!
+ Read everyone’s favorite books together for story time
+ Have a movie night - share your favorite, classic movie with your kids!
+ Make a craft together
+ Play video games together - you might be surprised who wins!
+ Go camping together, either in the backyard or at a campground
+ Be outside and adventurous - go kayaking, fishing, or play a family favorite sport together!

We hope that everyone has a safe and fun Fathers Day weekend!
